On October 15, 2012, Sycamore Services and Herman-Kittle Developers welcomed visitors, local business leaders and others to share in the Grand Opening of the Commons of Wynne Farms. Sycamore and Herman-Kittle partnered in the development process to provide modern, affordable housing for Hendricks County residents. 72 of the units were constructed with accessible floor plans including wider doors, walk-in showers and other accommodations. Those attending the Grand Opening were invited to visit one of the unrented units. The apartments have 1-2-3 and 4 bedrooms with walk-in closets and other modern amenities.
December 2012 –
Consumer Wins Award from Hendricks County Habitat for Humanity
Saturday evening, December 8, the Hendricks County Habitat for Humanity held their 20th anniversary celebration. At that event, Steven Rader was recognized for his service during 2012. Steven had shown a positive attitude, dependability and a willingness to help throughout the year. He demonstrated a willingness to serve other crew members and partner families whenever he was on the job site. During his two years volunteering for HOH, Steven has improved his communication skills and strengthened his self confidence. He has shown himself to be a caring individual who is willing to commit his own time to help others.
